When burglars used a blow torch to cut off a piece of our client’s metal security gate and sneak into their warehouse without setting off the alarm, they were able to steal $600,000 of the client’s designer apparel. Because of the way we structured the policy, our client received full wholesale sales price for the lost merchandise. In addition, the insurance company hired an investigator to find the missing goods and prevent them from being sold on the open marketplace. The investigator found the stolen product on Ebay and at flea markets, contacted the police and recovered more than $150,000 of merchandise – then gave it back to our client.
